From Inspiration to Wearable Artwork
Join me for a relaxed Saturday afternoon of conversation, creativity and making in the beautiful McClelland Pavilion.The session begins with a short talk exploring how inspiration can be found in the intersection of art, craft and design. Each participant will create a wearable stitched brooch inspired by their experience of McClelland. Using a beautifully curated take-home kit, you'll be guided through simple textile techniques in a welcoming workshop suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike.
Participants will leave with a finished piece of wearable art, a unique reminder of their afternoon at McClelland as well as the skills and confidence to continue making at home.
