BUNDOORA HOMESTEAD ART CENTRE
In 2018 I was commissioned by Bundoora Homestead Art Centre to develop a creativity program that would engage public participation in the creation of exhibition-standard work. Craftlab+ delivered 23 unique workshops designed to give participants of all ages access to a ‘creative confidence’ that could sustain a personal art practice. This culminated in an extensive public exhibition and required engagement with curatorial staff, artists in residence, workshop participants and the community. It was an overwhelming success with full to capacity sessions each week and extraordinary outcomes for the participants. There are plans to repeat the project in 2020.
